This box is a portal of dreams. Looking at this box I had a feeling of being drawn into a private place full of old and intimate things held in a sacred stash. I fancied memorabilia like a love letter, a pearl corsage pin, a locket with a strand of hair, perhaps a diamond necklace or cufflinks.

The original stained yellow flame taffeta lining in the box reminisced of embers of the faded past waiting to be rekindled and fanned into purple flames of imaginings. Now, opening it again and again, it serves as a treasure trove of possibilities for its spirits, the stuff of dreams and all that becomes of it. Everything old is new again.
