Reading John O’Donohue’s, Anam Cara, a book of Celtic Wisdom, has opened me to a creative connection to my clay body and nature.  One Celtic belief is that “the underworld is not a dark world but a world of spirit…in which all is rooted.”  Those living on earth are made from this earth clay.  O’Donohue says, “we never know how many places of nature meet within the human body.”  And “just as it is an immense privilege for your clay body to have come up into the light, it is also a great responsibility.”  So the Heart Box represents for me an opportunity to be extremely grateful for my clay body and to love myself as a unique and very special clay shape – mind, body and spirit.  The large rock resting on the platform is free.  I invite you to pick it up and hold it – one clay form to another.  Peace.
